A failed trip to paint the Museum of Modern Art became a fortunate discovery of the soon-to-be Hermés Men’s Store on 62nd and Madison Avenue; today, a giant orange box.
For those of you questioning humanity, I had the following incredible events occur:
A saleswomen came out of a luxury store to give me a bottled water; a stand-up comic stopped on the street to offer me sun tan lotion (which I badly needed); Erika, from Hermes, bought me an ice coffee and shared some excellent conversation (thank you for the photograph); also had an informative chat with the owner of Georg Jensen.
A full process post will follow, likely, tomorrow – another finished piece to share.
GENIUS!!
So that’s what real people are like? Amazing!
