In a previous life, I was a lowly cast member on XYTV – a reality TV network. I met a lot of people during this time, but none more driven, talented and personable than Executive Producer Jason Sirotin. Following his tenure at XYTV, Jason went on to work for Howard Stern On Demand. Eventually, he took his skills to Hotlanta (yes, I said it) and became the V.P. of Business Development for ECG. As you can see in the film above, Jason, ECG and friends Will Film for Food. I caught up with Mr. Sirotin to get the scoop – roofies, film, beer and more after the jump.

1. What is the Will Film For Food Fundraiser, and how did it come about?

We are currently raising funds for a 1.5 million dollar film and that takes time. A friend of ours whose an Atlanta based director wanted to get something going before that – something cheaper and less involved. We needed a way to raise money for him so we decided to throw a huge party/event.

2. Why should people come to the WFFFF in 10 words or less?

The People, the food, the amazing beer, the cause, the fun, the entertainment.

3. How would you describe who you are, and what you have done in your life in two sentences?

I am a media producer and director who loves freedom. I will take almost any job for the money but there is nothing more gratifying then creating something with complete freedom and passion.

4. What is ECG, and where is ECG going?

ECG Productions, Inc. is a film, television, and video production and post-production company specializing in providing quality high-definition content to the local, regional and national marketplace in the form of industrial videos, training videos, streaming video, video-on-demand, broadcast television programming, commercials, music videos, web video, documentaries and feature length motion pictures.

5. As previously posted on Borbay.com, you were involved in the Fat Boy Chronicles… what was your role, and what is the latest news on everyone’s favorite Fat b…chronicles?

Things are going well with the movie. The movie should be at picture lock by the end of the week. Once that is finished we move into sound design, scoring, color grading, and mastering. Very exciting. Check out the trailer.

6. Celebrity you like? Want to punch? Would let roofie you?

My favorite male celebrity is Johnny Depp and my favorite female celebrity is Anna Faris. Anna makes me laugh! Johnny makes me humble. I would love to punch Limbaugh and Dr. Phil. I would be honored to be roofied by anyone. Hell, no one’s ever given me a phone number let alone knocked me out and had sex with me. I’ll take what I can get. Jason Borbay is awesome. (Editor: had to leave that last line in for the sake of my ego.)
