Time Out New York Update

This is the city scene I am capturing from the 12th floor of Time Out New York‘s West Side Headquarters. The painting is being created in my current typographical collage style on a 36″X48″ canvas – that’s 12 square feet of good art lovin’. I will be sending out frequent updates throughout the day on Twitter, don’t be shy, feel free to dialog. After another session, I will post a progress report for your viewing pleasure. Day one was a blast, and a special thank you to Nina, Marc and Lisa for making me feel right at home.

South Street Seaport Wender Commission Delivered

Erin and I stopped by the Wender’s fabulous new apartment in the sky yesterday to drop of the South Street Seaport commission. We enjoyed conversation, St. Germain cocktails, the Rangers/Devils game and a view of Central Park from 60 floors up.

I was excited to see friends and collectors, Stephanie, Scott and Ryan Gurtman on Rachel Ray the other day. Stephanie tested a new iPhone baby-monitor application in a filmed segment, and spoke with Rachel directly, live, from the front row!

Various Happenings, Shameless Business Promotion

Down in TriBeCa at BevForce HQ, I have two corporate commissions in the works, one quite close to completion. My open letter to Woody Johnson was tweet-delivered directly to Mike Vaccaro of the New York Post last night, we’ll see if an offer of some beers can sweeten the deal.
