Despite my crushing Olympic defeat, I was able to get my paws on the Stanley Cup – thanks to my man Jim over at Sirius. It’s not every day you receive an email saying, “Stanley Cup, 9:30PM.”
Here is a shot of the gang, a bunch of guys missed the initial shoot and some couldn’t make it… regardless, I am sure you can tell, we are a pretty good looking team – despite the Pastel Easter Egg sweater Nick is wearing. We were actually supposed to hoist the Cup when we won D6 Summer Beer League Hockey at Chelsea Piers, but it was caught up in traffic.
Oh Baby, the centerfold shot.
Here is a sneak peak at my Olympic Wager painting, still a work in progress. Once again, big thank you to Jim for hooking it up, and to Mike for taking time out of his crazy schedule to let a couple of beer slinging weekend warriors pay homage this Lord Stanley’s fine piece of hardware. By the way, as you will notice in my shot I am rocking the Velvet Underground shirt… my suspicions were confirmed, my attire represents the closest Andy Warhol has ever been to the Cup.
