FlyNY 2010 was a fine afternoon spent painting a kite filled sky. There were several photographers on hand, and here are some of the excellent shots sent my way. Above, professional photographer and part-time lawyer George Flowers really captures the scene.

It’s only the beginning for this easel rag, soon it will be old, stiff and crusty… just like an ornery grandparent.
I’ve been doing lots of hand exercises, so I don’t feel awkward when people notice how fit my digits are.
Mixing colors, not regretting life.
Brush to canvas, color on top of color.
Since I am not a professional baseball player like A-Rod, I take performance enhancing drugs to bulk up the pythons without consequence. Actually, neither one of us has any problems with the old PED issue.
Traits you find attractive between paints and people don’t necessarily align. For example, I exclusively prefer Heavy Body paints.
Get in there, stay focused.
The palette knife is quite delectable, and is considered fine cuisine in 9 out of 10 art studios.

Kids really do love to get involved with the painting process. Of course, in retrospect, a belt would have been a good choice.
