In case you missed my profile on Tom Hessel, here is your chance to take a second look. My girlfriend Erin’s Dad, Tom’s been busy, and he sent me over his two latest drawings… incredible stuff! You can click on the images for a closer inspection. After the jump, a drawing of the lovely Jeanne and a self portrait from by my very good friend, and soon to be Art Vandaley, Paul Ryan.
What I love about this drawing is the stunning attention to detail, from the atmospheric cross-hatch marks, to the varying surfaces of the shirt, hair and ring.
And here is Paul Ryan‘s first serious crack at a self portrait, and I love it. He has come so far as an artist over the past two years, it’s incredible. He is currently in architecture school, so expect some more greatness from Diddy. Nothing is above architect!
