  Iona College Art Appreciation Lecture | Presentation and Class Guggenheim Drawings Academia, General Action | (2)

  This past Thursday, I had the honor of guest lecturing at Ryan Seslow's Art Appreciation Class at Iona College. Professor Seslow, Iona College and the students welcomed me with open arms. My objective was to visually introduce my background, work, process and daily routine.   Sometimes, you must simply attack a canvas. Without process photos. Without a plan. With gusto. See above, "In Case of Fire in the Catskills" - a collage made of items I  picked up in Woodstock. There are business cards from the outstanding Cucina, a Fire notice given by the fire department after we donated some green, a peeled Scraps wine label, and lots of paint.
