My “I Heart NY” Milton Glaser inspired design, which was featured on The New York Times, received a nice shout from Kate Donnelly on her blog: I Loved New York.
About Kate:
Kate Donnelly is a writer and rookie photographer. She worked in the New York film world for ten years (@ New Line Cinema and Revolution Studios). Earlier work stints include the Clinton-Gore White House, the American Film Institute and the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art. She’s published pieces for Daily Candy and interviewed director Alexander Payne for The Believer. She’s still trying to publish her article with Dr. Robert Millman on Acquired Situational Narcissism (ASN). She sailed down the Amazon River in 2000 and recently traveled to Barcelona and Argentina. She doesn’t know how to properly dive into a swimming pool but still tries. Pearl Jam is her band. She wants to buy a good-looking watch but doesn’t believe in time. Loves: her golden retriever Eddie, her man Nico and the smell of garlic and olive oil and her mom’s red sauce (an old Sicilian family recipe). Oh, she’s a proud native Kansas Citian.
Be sure to check it out, and follow Kate on Twitter.
