In Mid-November, I announced my participation in the Twitter Art Exhibition. A major success, this event has been televised on NRK (8:10 into the clip). From the founder, fellow artist David Sandum:
“255 artists from all over the world (some 20 countries) have participated in the Twitter-art-exhibit at the Moss public library, where all proceeds go to children’s books, by painting an original postcard (or mixed media, photo etc). These cards have been assembled on a wall built donated by Punkt Ø- Momentum (government art agency). The cards are sold for 200 NOK each ($32.00), and so far we have sold 65 cards and brought in over $2000 for children’s books. It’s a wonderful event and if you live in Moss or close by, I recommend seeing it. It will remain until the end of January.
The opening of this exhibit was a grand event, opened by the deputy Mayor of Moss — Knut Lindelien . You can see pictures from this posted by the Moss Library Flickr Account.
To do PR for this event, I have been a guest at Radio Prime Moss (106.9), P1 radio (NRK Østfold) etc. Several newspaper articles have also been written (Moss Avis etc) and numerous blogs posted. TV Øsfold (on TV Norge) did a story, and tonight I was interviewed by Norwegian Television NRK – Norwegian Broadcasting (jump to 8:10).”
On the NRK piece, don’t miss the Ryan Seslow shout.
