New York, NY - April 4, 2011 – The opening reception for Atelier Klimat — “A Survey of Living Manhattan Artists”, will take place on April 12th, 2011, at Klimat, a lounge in the East Village of Manhattan. Running through April, this group exhibition will showcase eight New York artists, including: Paul Zepeda, Ryan Seslow, Michael Serafino, Jeremy Penn, Greg McMahon, Matthew Mahler, Ari Lankin and Borbay.

From photography to encaustic to paint to silk screen — this collection envelopes a spectrum of media in colors ranging from stark to vivid. Many museums in and around Manhattan feature artists who have long since exchanged their studio for a coffin. On April 12, 2011, at 7:00 PM, head to the East Village, see the work, meet the artists and soak up the ambiance of the exquisite Klimat Lounge.
