New York, NY – May 14, 2011 — Want to get your hands on an original Borbay at the click of a button? If 1000 people “Like” Borbay’s Facebook Fan Page by May 31, 2011, a randomly selected fan will win the original Sahara Hotel collage painting. Painted on-location in Las Vegas this April, Borbay captured the legendary former home to Dean Martin before it closed forever this May.
The Sahara is a 20″X20″ Acrylic and Newspaper Collage Painting on canvas.
CONTEST RULES
1. Borbay’s fan page must have 1,000 Likes by 11:59PM, May 31, 2011 (the “Deadline”) for the giveaway to take place
2. Current fans are automatically entered into the contest (immediate family members are ineligible)
3. On June 1, 2011, if 1,000 Likes are achieved by the Deadline, Borbay will ask ten random Twitter followers for a number between 1-1000; Borbay will then take the average of all ten (The “Average”), and the painting will go to the corresponding fan (Facebook tracks Fan Page “Likes” in order”); if the resulting winner is a family member, Borbay will ask for one more number to recalculate the Average
4. If the winner is in the NYC area, Borbay will hand-deliver the painting; otherwise, the painting will be shipped at no cost to the winner (International winners included)
