If watching the same movie 100 times a year indicates brain damage, color me cracked. One of my favorite all-time book/movie combinations is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Since I watch movies all day as I paint, I felt it was time to make the connection on canvas. Short story long, I’m capturing two gents I greatly admire and respect: Johnny Depp and Hunter S. Thompson, in one image. Above is the photo I took of the movie, paused, slightly skewed on my 40″ Samsung.
Here is the cropped-to-frame, Photoshop edited source image for the painting. It will be in my standard, ripped-from-Warhol square canvas format.
