Up next in my Kick-Ass Actors in Kick-Ass Roles series? Joe Pesci as Nicky Santoro from Casino — the Scorsese epic.
Naturally, I was torn between Pesci in Goodfellas vs. Casino, but it really came down to capturing the best Pesci source image, and Casino won out. This is an important scene where Nicky is providing comfort to Ginger… the initiation of the transgression that would be the end of him.
Now for those of you that know me, you are aware that Home Alone 1 and 2 are two of my favorite films. I’m not ashamed to admit it, and quite frankly, they make me enjoy the maniacs Pesci perfects in the aforementioned flicks even more.
