Hurricane Sandy has devastated the East Coast, including my native Long Island. As my pockets aren’t deep enough to outright donate to the American Red Cross, I’d like to offer any support I can. So, for all new sales and commissions made between today, October 31, 2012, through November 30, 2102, I’ll donate $1000 to the American Red Cross.
Additionally, if you have donated to the American Red Cross at any time this year and can provide documentation, I will discount the price of my work matching your donation up to $1000. For donations made on this end, I will provide documentation of all donations to the collector immediately upon receipt.
To date, I’ve done my best to support charitable organizations, donating work to benefit charities including Birdies for Breast Cancer, The MVP Foundation, Life Through Art Foundation (in progress), Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS, The Hope For Them Foundation, We Love Japan, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children of Armenia Foundation, A.C.E. and The Skin Cancer Foundation.
HOW
If you have interest in an acquisition or a commission, please email me at: jason@borbay.com — I will provide you with a price list for your review. All works listed available are indicated — if you like something already acquired, we can discuss a commission. Shipping is additional, and will not be factored into the baseline price.
I’m sending my best wishes to the victims of this incredible catastrophe.

Reaching back to help others…….this is what makes America great. I am pleased to see you are supporting the relief efforts, post hurricane Sandy. I know your home state of New York was hit hard. I am pleased you are supporting Red Cross Relief efforts.
Let me know when there is another live painting event. I will take easel on the train and join the band.
Hope you and yours have power. If not, head to New England and I will put you up so you can continue working. Same offer is extended to Ari. You can Tweet him.
I am in the market this spring for a Borbay commission. One of Grand Central and one of the of an iconic area with wooden water towers on the roof. We will be in conversation about the works. I also want an Ari original.
I am getting ready to submit work for 2 shows, the School at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is calling for work for their holiday sale and I shot a new body of work in Portland Main that I will sell at the event. I am editing 3 films, and teaching. Life is good. And getting back to my initial comment, you are good to support the Red Cross.
Peace in the river. Peace in the valley.
