A few years back, I found myself at the wretched Empire Diner in Chelsea. The view was of the Exxon/Dunkin Donuts, so I did a little of the ol' pen to paper. The gas station has since been torn down to make way for a condominium. Anytime a Dunkin Donuts is lost, well, it brings a tear to my eyes.
