Hey Jason!
Wife had a baby girl, Madison. Things are swell up in Ithaca (technically, Newfield, 5 miles outside of Ithaca)
Got some seriously beautiful scenery up here along with waterfalls and gorges. Am itching to paint some landscapes myself one of these days.
Ever feel like taking trip upstate for a paint job of some sort, you’ve got a place to stay. PBR’s a plenty for ya too.

Hey, hey…Borbay—
Brendan Ben Feeney, visual artist and friend of Ari. Just a quick note to say I admire your work. Energy. Color. Words that pop. Statement. Purpose. Uber cool. You capture NYC the way I often see it. I hope to be back from California to dash to NYC to see your work and Ari’s work at the Klimat.
Have a day.

Viva Las Vegas…………
Any Elvis sightings in phone booths? Strike that. They are no more phone booths left. They are sooooo 20th century.
What about wedding chaples? Aviod them like the plague. Need I say one word in reference to a movie…HANGOVER?
Did you dust off your 1960s protest signs and march down the Strip with protest signs stating ..”Why did YOU take the wrecking ball to the origional Sands Hotel…home of the Rat Pack?” SHAME….SHAME…SHAME…..
I’m good at protesting.
Say hello to Ari. Paint me up a little number while in Vegas. Dice? A watered-down cocktail. A stripper? The senior citizen bus pulling up to the MGM Grand—on Social Security Check day. Ben humor.

Typo…please fix…..”there” are no………check the spelling of chapel….it is 3 AM in California
Brendan, Vegas was tight, thank you for following along. It was a blast… not sure where the next trip will be, but it will be epic.
Borbay–
Check in with Ari.
You have an invitation to paint on Cape Cod this summer–and Iceland in winter. I understand summer will be busy for you. I told Ari I’m great at tossing rice. Pencil me me. Either that, I will roll out the white carpet and promise not to rip my pants in the process.
I dig the Vegas and hip hop work. I am up for a Best of Boston award for my blog. To vote, you go to the Boston Magazine web site. It is sponsored by Jet Blue. If I win, I wonder if I’ll get a free ticket to Nebraska?
Be well and happy.

Borbay!
“Hip, hip, hippety hop to the hip hip hippety hop……”
I’m pleased to read in the art press about your New York Show featuring “The Kings of Hip Hop.” You are the master of capturing the essence of hip hop on canvas, Borbay. I thought ‘you and yours’ would like the photograph I shot in Denver, Colorado–of all places—of that hip hop dancer. I was doing street photography and came across this pumped-up dude at an outdoor street festival–dancing like there was no tomorrow. It is not your traditional wedding gift. Whatever….I could have sent you a salad bowl or steak knives. From one artist to another, keep up the great work. Sorry I can’t dash down to NYC on the 17th to attend your opening…yet I will be in NYC in November and December. Remember, you and Ari have an open invitation to paint on the Cape. Be well and happy.
