Atelier Klimat Event Photos — Living NYC Artists Mingle With The Living General Action | Comments
As seen in BlackBook and Max's Kansas City, Atelier Klimat's opening reception began at 7PM and carried on late into a stormy Manhattan evening that saw lightening strike the Empire State Building thrice. A terribly good-looking crowd braved said storm to soak up the art and atmosphere of Klimat, a premier East Village establishment. My developing Marty Brodeur painting (latest state pictured above) received a wonderful shout from Inside Hockey columnist Michelle Kenneth. When Michelle discovered my work via Twitter (a great follow), she mentioned Darius Kasparaitis has a sister who is also an artist. Ironic, because when I played travel goalie on Long Island, I had the opportunity to skate with Darius a bunch... full circles come sooner, rather than later round' here.
