A chance encounter in Vegas — Back in 2011 during our first Vegas Trip, Ari was asked to create a temporary tattoo on the arm of Sheila... a renowned performer on the strip. It was our first day in Vegas, and she asked us to live paint at Broadway Bares... a charity show. Here I am with Sheila in 2012, one year later, after our second Broadway Bares. Painting From Cabana 119, Surrender, Las Vegas at The Encore Painting Process | Comments
Upon finishing the Four Queens on Fremont Street, we banged over to The Encore for a six hour live painting session at Surrender. We began at 10PM and painted until 4AM. Thanks to the wonderful and talented Paula Caselton and Jerry Mitchell — Ari Lankin, Paul Zepeda and yours truly were invited to live paint at Broadway Bares Las Vegas. 2012's edition entitled "Barelesque" was a sexy, rollicking good time. While the finest performers in Las Vegas shook their money makers on-stage, we had 45 minutes to create a painting from the aisles. Immediately upon completion, Absinthe's stars The Gazillionaire and Penny Pibbets auctioned our works.
