My Bride and Yours Truly in The Metro, Kissing in Times Square General Action | Comments
Talented scribe Cristina Velocci contacted my fiancée Erin about soul mates for a piece in the Metro. When Erin told me, I instantly remembered Cristina from Time Out New York, having painted in their West Side Office. Including some choice quotes from my lady, the resulting pieces included this photo, taken on a WWII Kiss-In re-enactment in Times Square in 2007, a month after we met. This July I am marrying my love Erin. To celebrate our special day, I created this logo which is a combination of meaningful photographs and hand-drawn lines. Random Linkage | Self Portrait 2003 Art Exhibit, General Action | Comments
Many moons ago I submitted this piece to a "self-portrait project". Approximately 3'X4', this work was created in the dingy basement of my reality TV house. Today, it sits tacked to the wall, un-stretched, in my parents Long Island home. A proper photograph will follow in the near future, when I have some time to get my hands on this warlock. This is the last piece I ever signed with my birthname, notice the high-school style symbolism within the canvas; must have been reading Sylvia Plath at the time.
