JACKSON, WYOMING — On June 23rd, from 6:00-8:00PM, Jackson Hole Still Works and The Art Association of Jackson Hole will host the 3rd Annual Spirit of Wyoming competition. For the second year, I’m fortunate enough to have horse jackalope in the race.
Friends, do make your way to the Still Works Distillery this Friday evening… for the $15 price of admission, you will receive one complimentary (delicious) cocktail, and a vote for the winner. Your vote counts… each year the winner is decided to a handful or less — so grab a beverage and exercise your right to dress up a gorgeous bottle of vodka!
Of the 49 fabulous entries, eight finalists were announced… and here they are:
Shannon Marie — “Wyoming Spirit”
Tag Alakis — “Untitled”
Amanda Romero — “Untitled”
Amy Dowell — “When Time Stands Still”
Carrie Wild — “Never Ending”
Deb Fox — “Pounce”
Kay Stratman — “Wyoming Wild”
This Guy — “Jackson Hole Jackalope”

Another newsletter? You got that right. I'll honor and respect your inbox, as if it were my own. I endeavor to share everything happening at Borbay Studios & Gallery. No daily updates. No weekly updates. Simply a message, every month or two... updates on life, creativity, and the journey that began on July 2, 2009. Let's be in touch, as the first leg of my quest reaches completion in 2026. From a studio in my 600-foot Upper East Side apartment living room, to a museum collection. Oh, but friend, that is just the beginning. The road is long, and I am looking for cool, sophisticated company to navigate each challenging turn.
You're here, and I love you for it.
