COLLECT

Acquiring a Borbay painting is a direct relationship with the artist and the work.

For generations, collectors relied on galleries and intermediaries to access contemporary art. Today many collectors choose to work directly with artists, establishing provenance at the source and forming a personal connection.

Some collectors have been building art collections for decades. Others are acquiring their first serious painting.

Both are welcome here.

TWO WAYS TO COLLECT A BORBAY

Collectors typically acquire Borbay paintings in one of two ways.

Acquire an Existing Work

These works are completed and ready to be placed with collectors.

OPTIONAL PAYMENT PLANS

Collectors occasionally reserve a painting with a deposit and complete payment over time.

Payment plans can be arranged on a case-by-case basis, depending on the work and availability.

STUDIO VISITS

Collectors traveling through the Teton Valley / Jackson Hole region are welcome to visit the studio by appointment.

Seeing a painting in person reveals scale, surface, and presence in a way photographs cannot.

Many collectors first encounter the work during a studio visit.

FINAL NOTE

Borbay paintings are placed directly with collectors — not through galleries — allowing each work to enter the market with clear provenance and a direct relationship to the artist.

Some collectors acquire their first painting here.

Others have been collecting for decades.

A true connection is made when a collector discovers a work they can not stop thinking about.
